OEG is recruiting an experienced Blade Repair Technician to support an offshore project in blade maintenance in Asia. This role requires an in‑date blade repair certificate that is minimum Blade B level and a technician with Leading Edge Protection repair experience.
Start date: 30th July
Rotations: TBC
Duration: 6 weeks (approximately)
Key Responsibilities
- Support blade repair teams in the application of Leading Edge Protection Shells
- Ensuring safe rope access to the repair on the turbine.
- Follow strict safety standards and procedures throughout all tasks.
Certification Requirements:
- IRATA Level 1
- OGUK / OEUK Medical
- Chester Step Test: Good or Above
- GWO BST (5 modules)
- GWO Enhanced First Aid
- GWO Advanced Rescue - all four modules (Hub, Nacelle, Hub Single and Nacelle Single)
- GWO Blade Repair (or Alternative) with LEP experience
- GWO Slinger Signaller or GWO Crane User
