Blade Repair Technician
OEG is recruiting experienced SGRE D6, D7 and D8 TSWA Blade Repair Technicians to support offshore blade maintenance projects. This role requires in‑date TSWA certification and proven experience isolating SGRE turbines in preparation for blade repair work.
Role Summary
You will carry out safe and accurate isolations on SGRE D6, D7 and D8 wind turbines to prepare for blade repair operations. You will work offshore as part of a team that delivers high‑quality, safety‑focused turbine support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform isolations on SGRE D6, D7 and D8 turbines before blade repair work begins.
- Follow strict safety standards and procedures throughout all tasks.
- Support blade repair teams by ensuring safe access to the turbine platform.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SGRE D6, D7 and D8 TSWA certification.
- Offshore work experience.
- Valid SGRE Blade B certificate or GWO Blade Repair.
- GWO Basic Safety Training.
- Enhanced First Aid.
- GWO Advanced Rescue.
- RUK Medical with Chester Step Test.
- GWO Slinger Signaller.
- Full UK or EU driving licence.
- GWO Crane and Hoist User.
