As we prepare to head into a busy 2026, we are looking to speak to Client Representatives (Trenching) for offshore and onshore works.
Start Date - 15/3/2026
Position
The Client Representative shall monitor cable burial activities and ensure relevant procedures and processes are followed.
Qualification and Experience
- Offshore transfer
- Survival at sea
- Working at heights (GWO)
- Offshore medical
- Confined Space etc. Mandatory
- Offshore lifting experience
- LOLER training
- IT proficient
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Familiarity of QA Processes
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience within specific package area, Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role
- Experience in the mobilisation and commissioning of mew trenching spread, including trials is preferrable.
- Excellent understanding of all aspects of cable installation onboard the TSV, including but not limited to:
Mechanical, Jet and Hybrid Trenching
All aspects of the operations of trenching equipment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input to daily planning meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being planned and executed according to the overall project execution plan.
- Participate in weekly safety walks with HSE representatives from Project and Contractor organisations
- During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality
- Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents
- Participate in toolbox talks ahead of aII work
- Participate in preparing the DPR to be used
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required
- Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties
- Daily recording of activities relating to HSE, Quality & EXC Loadout, Lay & Burial
