OEG are looking for a Competent Technicians to join a range of offshore projects which is a mix of SOV/CTV and JU.
Scope of Works – Competent Technician (CT)
The Competent Technician shall undertake routine inspection, maintenance, testing, fault diagnosis, and repair activities on designated equipment and systems. Responsibilities include ensuring all work is completed safely, in accordance with relevant legislation, company procedures, and manufacturer's recommendations. The technician will identify defects, recommend corrective actions, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support operational requirements to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
Key Activities:
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Perform inspections, testing, and fault finding.
Complete repairs and component replacements as required.
Record all work undertaken and report defects.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure minimal operational disruption.
This scope may be adjusted to meet specific site, asset, or contract requirements.
