OEG is seeking experienced and electrically competent technicians to support wind turbine installation, commissioning and related electrical activities on client projects. This role is suited to individuals who already have relevant experience and are able to work independently within established procedures.
As a Wind Turbine Electrical Technician, you will carry out electrical installation, testing, commissioning and fault‑finding (an advantage) tasks on wind turbines. All work must be completed in line with safety rules, client requirements, project specifications and applicable industry and legislative standards.

Consistently demonstrate strong safety behaviours and compliance with site safety rules

Carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing and commissioning activities on wind turbines

Support troubleshooting (an advantage) and resolution of electrical issues during installation and commissioning phases

Deliver work to the quality standards expected by the client

Accurately complete documentation and reports in line with company and client procedures

Contribute effectively across different project phases including installation and commissioning

Share experience and knowledge with colleagues where required
What You Bring

Recognised electrical training, education or qualifications

Minimum two years’ hands‑on experience in electrical work within an industrial, energy or infrastructure environment

Ability to read and follow electrical drawings, procedures and work instructions

Familiarity with NEN 3140 requirements for electrical installations would be an advantage

Familiarity with Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) or previous authorisation under WTSR would be an advantage

Familiarity with High Voltage Safety Rules or previous authorisation under HV Safety Rules would be an advantage

Good level of English, written and spoken

Physically fit for site‑based work and able to meet medical and safety requirements
