OEG are looking for a Generator Technician to join one of our offshore projects in the USA.
Location: Massachusetts, USA
Mobilisation: 8th September 2026
Rotation: 2 weeks initially, following good feedback could extend until March 2027
The successful candidate must hold the following certs/visas:
- OGUK / OEUK Medical
- Chester Step Test: Good or Above
- GWO BST
- GWO Enhanced First Aid - preferred
- Mechanical certification (proof of experience in similar role mandatory)
- L1/B1 visa or right to work in the USA
Scope of Work:
The Offshore Generator Technician’s SOW is to be responsible for installing, testing, inspecting and maintenance of the JCB 125RS T4F, Aggreko 100kVA and 70kVA generators on Project. To apply fault finding techniques when attending breakdowns.
Supporting the Operations Manager and with the planning and scheduling of the generator visits. Assisting with the monitoring and issuing of Fuel and DEF to the Generators.
Time to time, assisting with the mobilisation and demobilisation of the gensets alongside with the client, GE.
Completing daily documentation, Breakdown, Service, Loadbank report, with Daily Activity Reports.
Attending SOV meetings alongside installation leads when required.
Submitting observation cards, when necessary (positive and negative), along with reporting any incidents, accidents or near misses.
Attending any Toolbox talks given by OEG or the client.
Taking reasonable care of themselves along with other who may be affected by their work. Cooperating with OEG on all matters relating to HSEQ, complying with all Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
