OEG are looking for 2 x High Voltage Mechanical Fitter that is available to support at one of our client sites in Thurso.
Start date: 27th July - 31st July
Duration: 5 days
Location: Thurso
Roles and Responsibilities:
- support clients yearly HV outage campaign
- carry out maintenance tasks under supervision of a commissioning engineer eg, oil samples, battery testing, HV contact resistance checks
- complete maintenance reports
Certification/Training/Competency Requirements:
- Experience on HV equipment maintenance
- Background of industry experience- National Grid and DNO portfolio of works
- Standard tickets eg:
- MEWP licence IPAF Cat 3b
- National Grid Competent Persons- Not required but desired
- IVDE- National Grid drain earth experience- Not required but desired
- CSCS- Construction site HSE- Not required but desired
