As we continue a busy 2026, we are looking for a Marine Coordinator starting ASAP with the contract lasting until approximately end of September with potential for extension. This will be based onshore in the UK Northwest.
Experience and Certification – Required
- OGUK / OEUK Medical/ENG1
- Marine Coordination Experience (control room environment)
- Knowledge of Operations and maintenance activities
- Radio operation experience (VHF License)
- Acted as Operational Controller under the WTSR (desirable)
- Knowledge/awareness of emergency response control
- Competent in the use of the supplier database for offshore operations
- Competent with radio communications
- Familiarity with maritime certification
- Capable of working as part of a team, proactive, working under pressure and engages well with organisation
- Experienced in emergency response offshore
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Personnel tracking – whereabouts of people working under on project assets offshore at all times
- Marine traffic control – access to the OWF according to custody, timing, work scope.
- Airspace coordination – safe flight operations to, on and from the OWF
- Monitoring weather and marine operations on the OWF
- Emergency response and emergency response planning
- Surveillance and vessel avoidance
- Liaison and advisory – documentation/HSE/Marine Inspection/Helicopter Operations
- Statutory reporting – pollution/lighting/drifting buoys, vessel infringement
- Any other duties as required by the client.
