OEG are looking for Offshore Wind Warehouse Coordinators for the efficient management, control, and coordination of all warehouse activities supporting offshore wind projects. The role ensures the safe receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of equipment, tools, spare parts, and consumables required for offshore operations. Particular emphasis is placed on goods receiving, inventory accuracy, customs clearance coordination, hazardous material handling, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and applicable legislation.
This role begins in March 2027 on 4 week rotations. You must have, or be willing to obtain, a Taiwan Visa/Gold card/etc.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the warehouse in support of offshore wind projects.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through designated warehouse management systems.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials are processed, recorded, and stored correctly.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement and replenishment activities.
- Prepare project equipment, tools, and materials for deployment to offshore locations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Goods Receiving and Inspection
- Manage the receipt of all inbound goods and materials.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing lists, and shipping documentation.
- Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, damage, and compliance with specifications.
- Raise and track discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all goods are appropriately labelled, logged, and stored in designated locations.
Customs Clearance and Logistics Support
- Coordinate import and export documentation for international project shipments.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, import/export controls, and project requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve logistics issues that may impact project schedules.
- Maintain accurate customs and shipping records for audit and compliance purposes.
Hazardous Materials Management
- Receive, store, handle, and dispatch hazardous materials in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
- Ensure hazardous substances are correctly identified, labelled, segregated, and stored.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazardous material inventories.
- Support compliance with ADR, IMDG, and other relevant transportation and storage regulations.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure safe handling practices are followed at all times.
Compliance and Safety
- Promote a strong safety culture consistent with company values and industry best practice.
- Comply with all HSE procedures, warehouse standards, and quality management requirements.
- Report safety observations, incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Participate in warehouse inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
- Experience processing goods receiving and inventory control activities.
- Working knowledge of customs clearance and international shipping documentation.
- Experience handling hazardous materials within a controlled environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- Valid GWO BST (Working at Height, Sea Survival, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling) and GWO BTT (Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic).
- Current offshore medical (e.g., OGUK/ENG1) and fitness assessments (e.g., Chester Step Test/WFA).
- Valid Vestas SAI (Safety Awareness Induction)

- Valid Vestas Fire Prevention Awareness (e-Learning)
- SAP System experience
Desirable
- Experience supporting offshore wind, energy, or marine projects.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) certification.
- Dangerous Goods, ADR, IMDG, or IATA awareness/training.
- Customs import/export compliance experience.
- Health and Safety qualification (IOSH Working Safely or equivalent).
- Valid GWO Slinger Signaler, Preferred but not essential
- Valid Vestas TOS (Technical and Operational Safety)
