Role Description
OEG are currently seeking a number of Wind Turbine Mechanical Technicians to work on Offshore Commissioning (SOV-Based) in the Netherlands.
Role Purpose
The Wind Turbine Mechanical Technician is responsible for carrying out mechanical installation, commissioning, testing, and fault rectification activities on offshore wind turbines during the commissioning phase of the project. The role is performed offshore from a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) and contributes directly to the safe and timely handover of turbines to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Commissioning & Installation

Perform installation, alignment, torqueing, tensioning, and adjustment of mechanical systems and components (e.g. drivetrain, yaw systems, pitch systems, hydraulics)
Troubleshooting & Fault Rectification
Documentation & Reporting
Safety & Compliance
Offshore & Vessel Operations

Operate safely from an SOV, including W2W gangway transfers, daughter craft, and turbine access systems
Required Qualifications & Experience
Technical Qualifications

Proven experience working with large-scale rotating machinery, hydraulics, gear systems, or drivetrains
